The Pentacle funds are unlisted open-ended investment vehicles comprising two trusts similar in investment nature, differentiated only by the liquidity/redemption features and asset allocation from time to time. Investors can choose between two trusts, Pentacle DPF and Pentacle DPF - Enhanced.
The Pentacle Investment Committee has developed a strategic asset allocation model for the Funds designed to provide investors with the opportunity to participate in direct property returns from a highly diversified portfolio of properties managed by leading managers in each of the retail, office and industrial sub-sectors of the property market together with returns from a minor allocation to listed property trusts and special opportunities and development property investments.
Pentacle DPF is a diversified fund of direct property funds offered with a redemption notice period of up to 180 days, however subject to the fund having adequate liquid assets and/or cash in-flows, the Manager will endeavour to meet redemptions as soon as possible after the receipt of a Redemption Notice. In the year to June 30, 2007, the Pentacle DPF generated a total return after all fees and expenses of 11.9%, exceeding its performance fee benchmark.
